Accountability

“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another” Proverbs 27:17

“Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” Ecclesiastes 4:12

What is accountability?

One of the most important disciplines in living the Christian life is called accountability. Voluntary accountability is when we place ourselves in a position of being accountable for our actions. This is typically done with an accountability partner or group. By inviting a trusted friend to regularly challenge us on key areas of the Christian life, we are more likely to stay connected in our relationship with God, be consistent in personal disciplines, and avoid sin.

A list of topics for accountability have been prayerfully and intentionally developed to guide us in living the Christian life. The topics are grouped according to the four areas of our vision statement. Click here to download the list of topics.
