Monty Watson

MONTY WATSON and his wife, Kathy, have been married 29 years. They have two sons: Andy, who is married to Tori, and a precious daughter named Brooke, and Adam, a junior in college. Monty has completed his first year as Senior Pastor and Kathy teaches elementary gifted classes at Laurel Mountain Elementary School. Monty’s passion is teaching the Word to change lives. His prayer is that over the next 12 months, each Christian at TCACC would develop a relationship with a non-believer and share Christ with that person sometime over the next year.

Damon Andrews

DAMON ANDREWS and his wife Barbara have been married since 1982, and have two sons, Dustin and Parker. Their entire family, including Damon’s mother Iris and Dustin’s wife Nicole are active members of the church and serve in a variety of ministries. Damon has served on staff since 1990 and currently leads the areas of Worship and Administration. Barbara is also on the church staff and serves as assistant to the Discipleship, Youth and Children’s pastors. Damon is passionate about leading the church to experience God’s presence and power in worship, and hopes to see a revolution of men committed to leading and serving.

David Melles

DAVID MELLES and his wife, Karen, recently celebrated 30 years of marriage. They have four children: Beth (26), Sara (24), who is married to Neil Altuna, Joel (21) and Noah (14). David is an Applcations Engineer at ARM. The Melles family has been members of the church for 7 years. David serves as an ABF teacher. Karen is currently involved with coordinating Ladies ministry, leading Ladies Bible Study, leads a youth Deep End girls group, and is involved in many other ministries of our church. David is most passionate about teaching God’s Word and worship. His vision for our church is that, by God’s grace and the inner working of His Spirit, we will continue using the power of His word and worship to bring about life transformation.

Steven Testone

STEVEN TESTONE has been married to his wife, Lyndsey, for 7 years. They have two children: Kate (5) and Jack (2). Both Steven and Lyndsey grew up in our church and have benefitted from the legacy of their committed Christian families. Steven owns his own business, Snappages. Lyndsey works part-time in the Canyon Creek Preschool. Steven previously served on the Church Council. He and Lyndsey both have taught in the Youth Ministry, and Steven continues to lead a Deep End small group of young men. More recently, Steven and Lyndsey have moved into Adult Bible Fellowship leadership, where Steven teaches a class for 20-something’s. Steven is most passionate about studying and teaching God’s Word to others. He has a burden to see people transformed by God’s truths.

Donnie Dixon

DONNIE DIXON has been married to his wife, Carolyn, for 29 years. They have four sons: Garrett (24), Hunter (22), Tanner (19) and Mitchell (16). Donnie is the founding pastor and served as Senior Pastor for 22 years. Donnie now leads our Discipleship, Care and Family Ministries. His wife, Carolyn, is a professional counselor and has taught the Ladies Bible Fellowship class for many years. Donnie champions marriage health and the value of being vulnerable with a small group of other believers which can lead to significant life change.

Mark Perkins

MARK PERKINS and his wife, Rhoda, have been married for 24 years. They have 3 boys: Sean (20), Chad (18) and Chase (13). Mark is COO of Tenura Holdings, Inc. Rhoda works as a customer service rep for Texas Mutual Insurance Company. Mark and his family joined with our church in 1988 and have served in many capacities over the last 22 years. Mark has served on the Church Council and is currently on the Personnel Team. Rhoda is involved in Women’s Ministry and has participated in our mission trips to Progreso, TX. Mark’s vision for our church is that we would be moved from a place he calls “comfortable Christianity” into lives totally consumed by a passion to live for God’s glory.

Bruce Walker

Bruce Walker has been married to his best friend Joyce for over 35 years. Their son Andrew is pursuing an aviation degree at Oklahoma State University. They joined the church 15 years ago after moving from the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Bruce was ordained to the ministry in 1991 after working in the corporate world for 15 years. Having earned a doctorate in counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, he now directs the Center for Relational Care, a counseling ministry specializing in strengthening marriages and families. The Walkers have taught relationship classes and workshops at the church through the years. Joyce also led women’s groups and served on the care ministry team. She works with Bruce at CRC. Bruce’s passion for the church is for every member to develop and nurture a deep love relationship with Jesus that empowers a gratitude-driven love for others.
