Monty Watson
Senior Pastor
Monty became Senior Pastor of The Church at Canyon Creek in September of 2009. Monty’s passion and gifting is in visionary leadership and expository preaching. He loves to bring worship and the Word to bear on people’s lives to both comfort their needs and to challenge them to live for Christ. Prior to coming to The Church at Canyon Creek, Monty served as the Teaching Pastor and an Elder at Fellowship Bible Church in Roswell, Georgia. Monty’s wife Kathy also served on staff as a director in the children’s ministry. Monty planted and pastored a church in the Northern Virgina suburbs of Washington, DC, for 12 years. His educational background includes a M.Div. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, in Fort Worth, Texas, and a B.S. in Accounting from Louisiana Tech University, in Ruston, Louisiana. Monty and Kathy grew up together in Arcadia, Louisiana, were high school sweethearts, and have been married since 1983. They also have two sons. Andy, his wife Tori and their daughter Brooke live in Atlanta, Georgia, and Adam is a sophomore in college.monty@churchatcanyoncreek.com
Donnie Dixon
Discipleship Pastor
Donnie Dixon served as senior pastor of The Church at Canyon Creek (formerly Cypress Creek Baptist Church) from its beginning in 1987 to 2008. In July of 2008, discipleship pastor, Matt Peacock moved to become senior pastor of The Church at Bee Cave, a mission of The Church at Canyon Creek. Following his departure, Pastor Dixon then transitioned from the role of senior pastor to discipleship pastor.Donnie grew up in Texas City and received a BA in Speech and Communications from Baylor University in 1983. He also received his Masters in Divinity and Masters in Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1987.
Donnie's areas of responsibility include leading Adult Bible Fellowships, Marriage and Family Ministries, and Pastoral Care.
Donnie and his wife, Carolyn, have four boys, Garrett, Hunter, Tanner, and Mitchell.

Damon Andrews
Worship Pastor
Damon finished high school in the Austin area and received a BBA in Accounting from Baylor University in 1981. He received his Masters in Music from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1985.After spending eight years as Minister of Music and Education at Second Baptist Church in Dallas, Damon and his family moved back to Austin and joined The Church at Canyon Creek in 1990.
Damon oversees all areas of worship ministry, including the planning and leading of weekly worship services and leadership of volunteers who serve as singers, musicians and media technicians. As business administrator Damon oversees the management of church finances and provides supervision for administrative assistants and the facilities coordinator.
Damon’s wife, Barbara, is the administrative assistant for discipleship, youth and children’s ministries. They have two sons. Dustin and his wife, Nicole, live in the Dallas area. Parker lives and works in Austin.

Keith Tooley
On Mission Pastor
Keith Tooley joined the staff at Church at Canyon Creek in January 2011. His spiritual gifts include evangelism, pastor/shepherd, leadership, administration, teaching and encouragement. Keith’s passion is helping believers see, understand and live out their identity in Jesus Christ, and helping unbelievers see and experience the life-changing reality of Jesus Christ. Keith served as a Team Lead Pastor, and as Evangelism Pastor, at Hill Country Bible Church Northwest in Austin from 2005 to 2010. He and his wife of 28 years, Kay, served at Hill Country for 17 years in numerous ministries. Prior to being called to full-time ministry, Keith owned and managed community newspapers for 20 years. He completed his CGS degree from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2007, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Park Administration at Texas Tech University in 1982. Keith and Kay have two daughters: Sarah, age 26, a graduate of UT with an Advertising degree, and is currently pursuing a Masters in Counseling at Gordon-Conwell Seminary in Boston; and Megan, age 22, who achieved a Elementary Education degree from UT, and is employed by Field Asset Services in Austin. She is married to Grayson Dzialo, who is the Associate Pastor at Wells Branch Community Church. keith@churchatcanyoncreek.com
Dusty Brewer
Youth Pastor
Dusty grew up in Gainesville, Texas and received his BA in Bible from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas in 2001. He then received his Masters in Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2005. After four years of youth ministry in Kaufman, Texas Dusty moved to the Austin area in 2005 to join the staff at The Church at Canyon Creek to be the Youth Pastor.Dusty provides leadership to the Middle and High School ministries, and his main areas of responsibility include enlisting, training, coordinating and supporting the lay leaders as well as the programs and events aimed at developing 6th - 12th graders into faithful followers of Jesus. His goal is to equip teenagers to live out the purposes of God in their lives.
Dusty and his wife Ashley have two children, Hudson and Ellison.

Patty Evans
Children's Pastor
Patty was born in Mexico City and grew up in a missionary family. She received a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Southwest Texas State University in 1994. Patty joined the staff of the Church at Canyon Creek in 1999 after many years as a member. She also spent two years as an elementary education teacher.
Patty's main areas of responsibility are to develop Christian education programs which include enlisting, training, coordinating and supporting lay leaders who teach children first grade through fifth grade, and to lend support to Women's Ministry. She also coordinates and leads Kid's Praise, which is for pre-k through first grade.
Patty and her husband, Matt have a son, Joshua, and two daughters, Kayla and Cary.

Kelly Gottschalk
Preschool Pastor
Kelly
Kelly has been the preschool pastor since June 2006, and has been a member of The Church at Canyon Creek since 1996. Her main responsibilities are: providing a high-quality Christian program for preschoolers, supporting and supervising preschool volunteers and staff, ensuring care for all preschool families and her favorite, which is, reaching out to families who attend C@CC, Canyon Creek Preschool or our MOPS ministry.
Kelly has always valued children even before her calling to the Church at Canyon Creek. She spent many years teaching in Mississippi and Arizona. Her biggest passion right now is helping preschool parents disciple their children.
She has been married to her husband, Mark, for 20 years and has a son, Justin, and a daughter, Julia. She loves to spend time with her family and friends, and going to sporting events or playing games.

Ellen Haley
Assistant Children's Minister
Ellen Haley grew up in Huntsville, Alabama and at age 7 received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She has a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Alabama and a Masters in Religious Education from Southwestern Seminary. Over the past 24 years, Ellen has served in various areas of Preschool and Children's Ministry as a staff member or volunteer.
In 2004 Ellen joined the staff at The Church at Canyon Creek as the Assistant Children's Minister where her main areas of responsibility are writing the curriculum for Highway 14:23 Children's Bible study and working with volunteer leaders to coordinate the Sunday morning Bible Study.
Ellen and her husband, Ben, have a son, Patrick and a daughter, Rebecca.

Linda Attaway
Care Minister
Linda was born and raised in Houston and moved to Austin after high school to attend The University of Texas. Upon receiving her B.S. in Nursing, Linda worked as a Registered Nurse at St. David’s Hospital for over nine years as a staff nurse, head nurse, and ultimately, Director of St. David’s Home Health.
Linda and her family joined The Church at Canyon Creek in 2003 and are involved in a variety of ministries. Participating and/or leading in Ladies Bible Study, Vacation Bible School, and Membership Class are a few of the areas which Linda enjoys. She became involved in the Care Ministry in 2005 and joined the staff in 2006. As Care Minister, she is responsible for administering and implementing the provision of care within the church to those experiencing times of crisis.
Linda enjoys reading and reviewing books, blogging, word games, and cooking. She and her husband have two children.
