Worship Services
We have one worship service on Sunday mornings at 11:00 a.m.

If you have never been to The Church at Canyon Creek on a Sunday morning, you would probably like to know a little more about what to expect.  So, first of all, there is no special dress code – you are likely to see someone in shorts standing next to someone in a suit and tie – and that is just fine with us. If you have children, then you’ll be glad to know that there are age appropriate programs for them also. For more detail about those, check out the Preschool, Children, and Students pages.

The two primary features of a typical worship service are Bible based teaching by one of our pastors, and group singing to express praise, thanksgiving and love for God. The music is led by a contemporary band and will include current Christian songs as well as modern arrangements of traditional hymns. We will often spend time praying for upcoming ministry events. We also like to celebrate what God is doing in the lives of His people as we observe baptism, listen to personal testimonies and watch media presentations about mission trips and other events.

Every six to eight weeks we will celebrate The Lord’s Supper. We practice open communion, which means that anyone who is a professing Christian may participate. During this time, those participating will eat a small wafer and drink a small cup of juice as a way of remembering Jesus and His sacrificial love for us.

At the end of the service there will be an optional opportunity for you to speak privately with one of our pastors or Elders. They will be able to pray with you about specific needs you may have, answer questions about the Christian life, or guide you toward opportunities for personal growth.
